MMBA expects that all Coaches will abide by our Code of Conduct. Each coach on the field will need to read and sign a Coaches Code of Conduct prior to season start. We have the expectation that each Coach will mentor, develop, build character and sportsmanship to each team member. If at anytime, there is a question of the Coaches ethics or morals on the field, the Executive have the right to investigate and possibly remove the Coach from their position, and possibly from the Association all together.
Coaches are also required to provide a Criminal Record Check prior to fielding a team. You will receive this form at the pre-season coaches meeting. This will need to be submitted to the Association President once approved by the local RCMP detachment.
Coaches, please feel free to print any of the below documents to assist with your season!
Morinville Minor Baseball Association (MMBA) is a non-profit program offering both competitive and non-competitive baseball to our community youth, ages 4 to 18. Kids will learn good sportsmanship and fair play while learning the game of baseball. Seasons and levels vary, however most kids will have the opportunity to play games, have practices, enjoy tournament(s) and attend many camps within the "Baseball Alberta" Region. MMBA works closely with St. Albert Minor Baseball and Legal Minor Baseball to ensure a well-rounded program for all youth and abilities.
